The
original Swanbridge Veterinary Centre was opened in May 1993,
starting life as a converted bungalow. Since this time the
building has undergone continuous expansion. In 1994 a fully
equipped equine unit was completed adjacent to the main building.
In 1999 the practice achieved hospital status, becoming known
as Swanbridge Veterinary Hospital & Equine Centre, and
is still one of a hand full of Veterinary Hospital's in the
north of England. We are also an RCVS Accredited Practice
and an approved Veterinary Nursing Teaching Centre (VNTC).
The
Swanbridge Veterinary Group now has five branch practices
and an Equine Practice that covers all of East Yorkshire,
North Lincolnshire and beyond. We have a dedicated team of
11 vets and a vast number of nursing and support staff, working
together to provide a 24 hour service every day of the year.
We
have a wide range of diagnostic tools, surgical facilities
and a caring hospital environment for a large number of patients,
including small animals, exotic animals and equine patients.
Our facilities include separate dog, cat
and exotics wards, three operating theatres, a diagnostic
imaging suite with two x-ray rooms, a laboratory, a hydrotherapy
suite, isolation wards, grooming parlour, an MRI unit and
three modern consulting rooms, all of which are fully air
conditioned and monitored by CCTV.
The
Swanbridge Group prides itself on its caring and professional
attitude, and we will always aim to do the utmost for both
you and your animal.
